Nickel Supra Rifle Scopes

Nickel Supra Rifle ScopesRifle
In my quest to replenish my stock of scopes, I just picked up a B Nickel scope on a semi whim and I was wondering what anyone in here might be able to tell me about the manufacturer, the scopes in general or any experiences with them, as I haven't come across them before.
I couldn't find much on the net so if you know of a good site then I'd be interested in having a nosey.
From the one I bought (waiting for it to arrive) it is marked B. Nickel, Marburg/L. Variabel 2.5-6. Made in Germany.
Cheers

May 24, 2010 The shooter has to start with the rifle at the hip and cannot lift befor the boar appeares. The X ring is a about 2.5'. Shooting fast runs require a rifle that fits like a shotgun. Leade at fast runs is about 6 mils. The individual adjustable posts in the scope makes it possible to use the optimum aiming point on the boar. These are just a few of the attributes knowledgeable hunters commonly use to describe Nikon riflescopes. Nikon is determined to bring hunters, shooters and sportsmen a wide selection of the best hunting optics money can buy- while at the same time pushing the envelope to create revolutionary capabilities for the serious hunter. I wouldn't think that scope is post-1990. Looking at the style of it, and the elevation and windage adjustments, I'd suspect it is of about the same age as the rifle it is mounted on. Certainly an older-looking scope than the Nickel Supra I have. Both your rifle and scope look to be in excellent order too. Burris has three different 3-9x40 Full field II scopes: 200161 features a simpler, classic Plex reticle. 200162 and 200169 both use the Ballistic Plex reticle, which provides more information to the shooter. 200162 is matte black and 200169 is nickel. A downside to B. Nickel and many other European scopes is that the tubes are 26mm in diameter. 26mm rings aren't too common and when found, they are often quite a bit more expensive than comparable 1' rings. Nickel 4x Supra on a Husqvarna 640 in 6.5x55, as it seems like a European rifle should have a European scope installed.
